This year I returned to Chateau d’Oex for the first time since Invista sponsored the event several years ago and we were the lead balloon. I have to say that it was a lot more relaxed and enjoyable, although not as rewarding financially.
The weather this year was outstanding with flights taking place all day every day. The two flights that I was able to enjoy took us up and down the valley towards Gruyere, copying the first flight that I took Georgina and Libby on several years ago. Lovely.
