The perfect venue for your balloon flight. The Dales is an attractive and interesting area for all age groups to visit and balloon over and a practical and convenient area to fly from. Travel with us over this area of outstanding natural beauty. Gaze down on the magnificent scenery as it gently drifts by. Local features you may have seen a hundred times before are revealed anew from this unfamiliar vantage point. Whether skimming through the treetops or high in the clouds, it will be an experience you will never forget.

Launch Site A - Skipton

Flights are taken from the White Hills Golf Driving Range. It is signposted from the top roundabout. Please park in their car park.

Launch Site B - Rathmell (near Settle)

Approached from Settle bypass the launch field is located on the right hand side of the road at the bottom of the hill just before the Village. The gate to the launch field is at the entrance to the track. Please park on the side of the road. Remember if you start to go up the hill you have passed it.
When approached from Wigglesworth, drive through Rathmell village, the launch field is at the bottom of the hill on the left.

Wigglesworth is signposted from Long Preston and the Settle Bypass. Please park in the large car park at the side of the hotel.

Launch Site C - Coniston Cold

www.theconistonhotel.com - Conveniently located on the A65, just seven miles northwest of Skipton, midway between launch sites A and B and nowhere near the lake district! We meet in the Hotel car park and take off from the large grassed area at the side of the hotel.
