Our Introductory Hot Air Ballooning Training Flight is designed to give you a taste of flying your own balloon. Our chief pilot will demonstrate how to Inflate, fly and land the balloon. You may have never flown before or just fancy the idea of piloting you own hot air balloon. It doesn't matter; you will find this a totally absorbing experience. It is an experince that also makes an excellent Gift.

If you get hooked, then further tuition is available, either in the Yorkshire Dales, or in Spain near to Barcelona. Balloon tuition in the Dales is sporadic due to the weather, but our balloon flight tuition in Spain is more intense and hours can be accumulated very quicky.

A hot air balloon is a registered aircraft, the same as any fixed wing aircraft or helicopter. As such the person in command must hold a valid Private Pilot's Licence issued by the Civil Aviation Authority specifically for ballooning; this is known as the PPL(B). Although anyone with average ability can fulfil the requirements for the PPL(B) it is not an activity to be taken lightly. As a pilot you must be sufficiently competent at operating the balloon and have such knowledge to be able to cope with any problems or circumstances that may arise.

 The flight is for two people, so bring a friend or loved one along to enjoy the experience.
