Ballooning

We have a brilliant success rate with our balloon flights in this area, mainly because of the weather conditions which are suitable for ballooning at any time of year.

Flights take place from Igualada, Manresa, and Vic. Each hour long flight is followed by our traditional ballooning breakfast – an occasion not to be missed! The total time for the experience is approx three hours.

Segways

Segways are “the world’s first self-balancing human transporter.” To move forward or backward on the Segway PT, the rider just leans slightly forward or backward. To turn left or right, the rider simply moves the LeanSteer frame left or right. You get the sense of power and speed, yet you also feel a sense of safety and absolute control. It all feels natural, safe, and instinctive.

Although they’re ideal for short jaunts, Segway PTs can travel as far as 24 miles/38 km on a single battery charge, depending on terrain, payload, and riding style.

Montserrat

For many visitors a trip to Montserrat is the highlight of their visit. Not only is Montserrat Monastery of significant religious importance but the natural beauty surrounding the monastery is simply breathtaking. If you enjoy walking there are also some interesting walks through the mountains where you will experience magnificent views of some of the most unusual rock formations in the whole of Catalonia. We often take a funicular to the top of the mountain and from there we can choose a number of different walks, all with amazing views of the Catalonian countryside.

Wine tasting

A great favorurite with all our groups. Set in sunny surroundings, the Bodega Masies d’Avinyó welcomes visitors and invites them to learn more about its land, its history and traditions and the quality of its wines.

Here we will spend quite some time sampling some excellent wines and tour the facilities at the vineyard, before purchasing some favourites from the shop. The whole experience takes about two hours, but can go on a little longer…

Karting

ABarcelona Indoor Karting is without a doubt one of the finest Karting venues in Europe. We visit frequently and it is a great favourite with our guests. The race takes a grand prix format, with a warm up session, a qualifying session of seven minutes and then the race of ten minutes. A podium finish with Champagne follows. Then there is time to calm down again in the bar! Suitable for adults in good health only!
