Costa Brava

Activities on the Costa Brava.

Ballooning on the Costa Brava

Ballooning

Ballooning on the Costa Brava is a lovely experience. The area is scattered with ancient monuments and villages. The light is beautiful returning some great photographs, especially with the backdrop of the early morning coastline. Flights are for an hour, followed by breakfast in one of the many restaurants in the area. Flights are early in the morning to avoid the heat of the day and the turbulence that comes with it.

Sailing on the Costa Brava

Sailing

Our skippered sailing trips take us down the coast from L’Escala to a small bay where we stop for a swim before returning to port. The whole trip takes about two hours. The boat we use is a 30+ foot Juneau, belonging to our good friend Setu, who is an experienced sailor, particularly in these waters.

Watersports on the Costa Brava

Watersports

The lovely open bay at L’Escala provides a safe environment for watersports beginners and the the more experienced alike.

Our facilities include, Water skiing, kayaking, dingy sailing, windsurfing and a banana boat! Great fun to be had by all. Or just lie in the sun and relax!

Segways on the Costa Brava

Segways

Segways are “the world’s first self-balancing human transporter.” To move forward or backward on the Segway PT, the rider just leans slightly forward or backward. To turn left or right, the rider simply moves the LeanSteer frame left or right. You get the sense of power and speed, yet you also feel a sense of safety and absolute control. It all feels natural, safe, and instinctive.

Although they’re ideal for short jaunts, Segway PTs can travel as far as 24 miles/38 km on a single battery charge, depending on terrain, payload, and riding style.

Pitch and Putt on the Costa Brava

Pitch and Putt

Defined as a PAR 3 of short distances, the 18 hole Golf p&p Gualta course is a golfers’ delight, with bunkers, lakes and large greens it provides a challenge for golfers of all levels and abilities. The advantage for beginners is the fact that they are allowed to play the course after having taken only a few lessons, as golf handicaps are not obligatory. The more experienced golfers can enjoy playing the beautiful holes while practising their often neglected short game.
